Chief Executive Officer, Australia Japan CableRobin has over thirty years experience in the telecommunications industry. For the last eight years he has been CEO of Australia Japan Cable (AJC). Prior to joining AJC, Robin was GM of Telstra's Indonesia and Malaysia business unit and a Director of the Mitra Global Telekomunikasi Indonesia (MGTI) joint venture. His early career was in information technology and finance. He holds a Master of Commerce degree from the University of New South Wales |
Chief Financial Officer, Australia Japan CableDavid has extensive experience in international finance having been involved in infrastructure ventures in the UK, Indonesia, Australia and the Pacific region. David has 20 years experience in the telecommunications industry and has been involved with AJC since it's inception. He was appointed as AJC's CFO in September 2000 during the early construction phase of the network. |

Chris Kessikidis |
Head of Administration, Australia Japan CableLynne has worked for Australia Japan Company since 2000 and has responsibilities for corporate governance, risk management and human resources. In 2002 Lynne was made a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Secretaries, and until recently served on the Institute's Bermuda Council. In 2008 Lynne completed her Cornell University studies in Human Resources, and is a professional member of the Bermuda Human Resource Association and the Society for Human Resource Management. She is responsible for the Australia Japan Cable group of companies and is based in the Company's Bermuda office. |
Commercial Director, Australia Japan CableChris has been in the telecommunications industry for over 15 years having held commercial, strategy and marketing positions within Optus, Vodafone and AAPT. Chris was appointed in September 2008 to AJC to lead the Commercial, Marketing and Sales functions. His responsibilities involve sales and marketing strategy, product management, development and pricing, brand direction, media and sponsorships. |

Financial Accountant, Australia Japan CableCandice DeSouza is the Financial Accountant for AJC. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer her main responsibilities comprise the production of Financial and Management Reports, including the P&L, BS and cash flow, liaising with external auditors, managing accounts payable, accounts receivable and the general ledger. Prior to joining AJC in 2000 Candice held diverse accounting positions with exempt companies in Bermuda including Assistant Controller, OCI Management Consulting Services, Ltd. Candice is a member of Institute of Management Accountants. |
Head of Engineering, Australia Japan CablePhilip Murphy is the Head of Engineering for AJC. Philip completed his engineering degree in 1974 and has been involved in the international telecommunications industry with OTC, Telstra International, Reach and currently AJC. His accountabilities have included geostationary satellite planning at 36,000km up and submarine cables at over 8,000km down. Philip was part of the original AJC Feasibility Study Team in 1999 with functions since then including specifying, procuring and testing network aspects of both the original AJC installation completed in Dec 2001 and the AJC Upgrade completed in April 2008. Philip also participates in the product development of AJC transmission capabilities and represents AJC at industry and government technical forums. |

Services & Customer Operations Manager, Australia Japan CableDavid has worked for AJC since 2000. David has almost 30 years experience in the telecommunications industry and has been with AJC since inception. David previously held positions in OTC (Overseas Telecommunications Commission), Telstra and Reach in varied capacities including Network Implementation, Network Assurance and Network Planning. He is currently managing customer service including provisioning, service assurance, network management and recourse allocation. Additionally he undertakes the Network Administrator (NA), Restoration Liaison Officer (RLO) and Assistant Maintenance Liaison Officer (AMLO) roles for AJC. David is currently the Chairman of the Pacific & Indian Ocean Restoration Committee (PIRC). |
Manager, Network Operations, Australia Japan CableJim Byrne is the Manager Network Operations for AJC. Jim has worked in International telecommunications for twenty years and has filled a variety of roles with OTC, Telstra, Optus and AAPT. Jim joined AJC in May 2001 and is the Maintenance Liaison Officer for the network. He monitors and coordinates the network management aspects of the AJC Network and works closely with the AJC NOC, Landing Parties, Equipment vendors and marine maintenance suppliers to maintain the system availability. |

Office Manager, Australia Japan CableDiane is the Office Manager for Australia Japan Cable. Diane has worked in the telecommunications industry and the finance and shipping sectors where she has held various administrative, PA and Executive Assistant roles. Diane has worked for AJC since January 2003 and has responsibilities for managing the administrative and financial duties for the Sydney office. Diane also coordinates Conferences, IT maintenance and travel arrangements.
