Purchase Options

AJC offers you the flexibility to purchase capacity to meet your financial needs. All AJC products offer attractive discounts based on both whole of business and capacity volumes.

1. IRU

Indefeasible Rights of Use (IRU) for AJC capacity can be purchased for a term ending on 31st December 2021.

All products and all capacities can be purchased as an IRU.
Purchase Volume discounts are available and capacity purchases although based on an upfront payment method can be deferred subject to agreement and payment plan.

Additional Operations and Maintenance (O&M) charges apply.

2. Annual Lease

AJC Offers a range of lease options ranging from standard lease options ranging from 1-5 years to more sophisticated customer specific options such as Growth lease, Lease to Buy. All AJC leases are billed monthly in advance. Monthly Lease prices are INCLUSIVE of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) charges so there are no extra charges.

At the expiry date, customers have the option to renew their leases or covert them towards other options.

a. Growth Lease
Under this lease agreement customers have the option of increasing capacity as their growth requirements change over time. These requirements can be established at the outset or altered as time goes by. Either way the flexibility in this approach places control in the hands of the customer managing their business.

b. Lease to Buy
Under this lease agreement customers have the option of contributing their total MRC towards the payment of an IRU.

c. Short Term Lease
Australia Japan Cable has the unique capability of turning up wet segment capacity within minimal time. Our customer networks team is on call to fulfil any activation need. Customers requiring either restoration or short term leases can consult with us in order to facilitate such a requirement, ensuring that should the need arise you know you can rely on AJC.

 d. Ad hoc Capacity
Australia Japan Cable has the unique capability of turning up wet segment capacity within minimal time. Customers needing "just in time" capacity for a few days or a number of weeks, for specific solutions or to alleviate a network problem can request a tailor made solution for their needs.
